Ubuntu, icq is fixed in Empathy

November 29th, 2010 § 2 Comments

It seems icq, the company, is not allowing other clients to connect to their service. Every few months they change the protocol again and the clients fix it in order to connect again. Seems like a stupid ratrace but Empathy is working again using icq.

For those of you who wonder what Empathy is. It’s an Instant Messaging client allowing you to connect to MSN, ICQ, Jabber, Skype, Facebook, AIM, Irc, etc…

Where Am I?

You are currently browsing the icq category at Zomaar ... maar dan anders.
